Sometimes on the weekends we just want an easy, no fuss outfit, which is exactly what this look is. This look proves that you can maintain style and comfort in any outfit. I’m all about comfort, especially during the colder months. And while it’s been unseasonably warm as of late, I’m sure I’ll be wearing this look s
How awesome is this artwork? Of course I had to get a photo with the martini glasses in the background.
Wearing: Urban Outfitters jacket (old, similar here) | Lou & Grey tunic (wearing small) | Lululemon pants (size up) | Blanket scarf (old, similar here) | Hunter boots (on sale here; if between sizes, go down) | Longchamp tote (more colors)
I think one of the easiest ways to add warmth without a bulky coat is with a blanket scarf. You’ve seen this blanket scarf several times on A Pop of Pink, most recently in this post, so I won’t say too much more about it. What I will say is that if you don’t own one, get one. These also make fantastic gifts for the holidays as many are budget-friendly, and in my opinion, one can never have too many scarves.
Another awesome holiday gift featured in this look is Hunter boots. I got so much use out of these during college. Fun fact: Pittsburgh actually has more rainy days than Seattle. But you can totally pull these off on non-rainy days too, although I’d invest in a different pair of boots for icy days.
These boots are extremely comfortable and durable, and currently the Hunter website has these on sale! If that’s not a sign to snatch up a pair, I don’t know what is. If you’re stuck between gloss or matte (my pair), I’d go with the matte as I’ve heard they tend to show less dirt. Mine still look almost brand new.
As always, if you have any questions about the items in this post, please let me know!
Here’s to being one week closer to the holidays!
