Tried and True

I titled this post for obvious reasons…these are my tried and true pieces. Some pieces I’ve had for many seasons, but they never go out of style. And red and blue is without a doubt a tried and true color combo. It’s not just great for Fourth of July, I sport it all year round.

Wearing: Madewell shirt (old, love this slouchy version) | J.Crew Factory skirt (own two of these) | Street Level tote | Sam Edelman flats (more here and here) | Tory Burch earrings | BaubleBar necklace
Let’s breakdown these pieces. This shirt is unfortunately no longer available, but Madewell now carries a slouchy version that I really, really love. Did I say really? This skirt I bought two summers ago, and I think I’ve bought a different color of it every year since. The only downside is that linen tends to wrinkle easily, but a few wrinkles never hurt, right?

Finally, you should add this monogrammed necklace, these red flats, and this tote to your wardrobe. I wear each of these pieces multiple times per week. I’m honestly thinking about buying another pair or two of these flats because they’ve been through some rain (thanks, Pittsburgh), but I just love them so much!

What are your tried and true pieces?
