Sorry that this week’s blog schedule has been thrown off a little bit! I had an early flight Monday morning and spent the rest of the day napping and watching Netflix.
I had such a fun time in Orlando and Disney World with my mom during Valentine’s Day/President’s Day weekend. It was the perfect weekend to get away as it had been extremely cold in Pennsylvania. The weather was gorgeous, and the food was awesome. Plus, I loved getting to be a kid again and hang out with Mickey and Minnie, and most importantly, any quality time with my mom is special. If you’re new to A Pop of Pink and want to see photos from my last mother-daughter trip, check out my Georgetown post.
How are we already down to one week until Labor Day weekend? This summer flew by. I feel like I always say that, but this time it really did. Between vacations, weddings, and a full-time job, I guess I kept myself pretty busy.
I’m really look forward to fall, though. I’ve broken out this BP cardigan from Nordstrom a couple of times, and every time I wear it, I imagine myself wearing it all season long. If you want a peek at how I styled it earlier this week, head on over to my Instagram or Facebook. (And if you’re not following along on either of those platforms, make sure you do!)
Nonetheless, I’m going to enjoy these last few weeks of summer with some dinner al fresco, cold beers, and a trip to Pittsburgh next weekend for a football game. Can’t wait! How are you spending the rest of summer?
I was so tempted to buy this hat at Old Navy yesterday. Thinking maybe I should go back and get it?
The start of back to school and the end of summer are both great excuses to find a new handbag. While I’m not heading back to school this year (ah, graduation), I’m always looking to update my wardrobe this time of year.
A handbag is one of the easiest ways to elevate your wardrobe. It’s fun to change it up, which is why I always recommend having a rotation of handbags in your closet.
If you’re looking for a new handbag (without a hefty price tag), below are 12 handbags under $150. We’ve got Old Navy, Longchamp, Ann Taylor and more in this post. I think the Ann Taylor bag is my favorite. There is truly something for every budget!
I can’t believe how quickly summer is coming to an end. It seems like just yesterday I graduated and started working, and now I have three months under my belt. I’m finally starting to get this whole real world thing down, I think?!
I hope you’re enjoying this week’s edition of “What I’m Into” with a cup of coffee and getting ready for a great weekend. And if you’re reading this at you’re desk wishing it was 5 p.m., I feel you.
