Sorry about the lack of inconsistent scheduling last week! You might’ve read about the little changes I made to the blog, so the logistics and stress of all of that kind of took over. After a rough week, I just needed a mini break, and to watch the newest episode of Grey’s Anatomy! But be sure to check out what I did share last week, including a review of these fabulous shorts.
How was everyone’s weekend? If it included some gorgeous spring weather, it really couldn’t have been bad, right? I spent Saturday downtown at Central Market and brunch. I might have had this meal again. I also went to a baby shower on Sunday, which is always fun! It was a great weekend, which always makes Mondays a little difficult. Or should I say, more difficult than usual.
I purchased these bow flats a couple of summers ago at Target. This exact pair isn’t available anymore, but here’s a dupe pair for under $30. I’ve linked them below along with a pair of Sam Edelmans. You’ve seen me wear my red pair before on numerous occasions. There’s a classic nude in the same style.
They are more expensive than the Target pair, but they are worth every penny in my opinion! I “need” the bubblegum pink pair!
Wearing: Banana Republic trench (old, similar here) | J.Crew sweater (wearing small; extra 30% off) | AG jeans (sized up) | Target flats (old, similar here and here) | Street Level tote | Ray-Ban sunglasses
I love this pink sweater, especially for cooler spring days, as the color still makes it seasonally appropriate. FYI, this sweater is already on sale PLUS an extra 30% off until April 29. Run, don’t walk. I can’t resist a good J.Crew sale, and my wallet hates me for it.
If you’re like me and tend to prefer tunic sweaters, you’ll want to add this to your closet for now and later. Reviews say to go down one size, but I stuck with my usual size. If you want it to be roomier, purchase your usual size.
