Pinspiration: Food Edition

Pinterest is my go-to source for finding recipes, especially of the crockpot variety. I’ve been able to try lots of new recipes thanks to the wonders of Pinterest. Some have certainly turned out better than others. #PinterestFail

Today’s “pinspiration” features recipes I’ve made recently, all of which were yummy and pretty easy to make. Yummy and easy?! That’s a win in my recipe book.

Home-cooked and not time consuming. This is probably one of the best recipes I’ve ever made from Pinterest. I never had pasta carbonara prior to making this, but I knew there was bacon, so no way could it be bad. It definitely didn’t disappoint.

An easy Mexican dish. Throw everything in the crockpot, and in a couple of hours, dinner is done! These chicken and rice bowls make great leftovers for the next day.

A healthy take on fried rice. This quinoa veggie “fried rice” was very delicious, but I still missed the rice. Again, this makes for great leftovers. I’d recommend cutting down on the servings. The recipe says it makes four servings, but it makes way more than that.

A delicious party appetizer. This warm cheesy bacon dip is soooo good. I made this back in January and served with pretzel crisps and tortilla chips instead of bread. But baguettes would be really good with this too.

  • I die for food pinspirati on! Just wish I was better at cooking and enjoyed it as much as eating the food! 🙂

    • I recommend the Mexican dish if you want something easy to make. Seriously, just throw everything in the crockpot and voila! You don't even have to cook the rice ahead of time. Thanks for reading, Lindsay!

  • Well to say I'm now drooling is not an exaggeration! I can't wait to try some of these!

I found your blog from Seashells + Sparkles. I love it! So cute! I'm definitely going to keep reading! I'm also a college student (but about to graduate in May, so let's not talk about THAT!) and you seem like a sweet person!

    Hope we can keep connecting!

    • Thank you, Kelly! I just stopped by your blog, and I love it. I'm also graduating this spring (April), and I'm not looking forward to it. It's taking everything not to have a mental breakdown. Best of luck with the rest of your school year!
