If you’ve seen me since I moved out, then you’ve probably heard me say what a challenge it is to cook for one. I’m not that much of a leftovers person (don’t judge), but I’m slowly learning that I’m bound to have leftovers when I’m cooking for myself. And, since I live alone, I have to make sure my food gets eaten. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve thrown things out that have been sitting in my fridge for too long.
One thing I do love now that I live alone is trying different recipes. You might’ve seen that I tend to pin as much food as I do fashion. I’m sharing some of the recipes I’ve pinned recently that I think will be delicious summer meals. I love that I can easily adjust these for one person.

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! Is it just me, or does a weekend following a long weekend always seem so much even shorter?!
On Friday, my family and I went downtown for First Friday. Every first Friday of the month, art shops stay open longer, people play music on the streets, and of course the restaurant scene is always extra fun. It was the first weekend night we had that was nice in what felt like a long time, so it was great to enjoy the summer weather. Saturday, I went shopping, and Sunday we had family over.
Happy Wednesday? Are you sick of me wearing Lilly yet? I hope not because I’ll never tire of wearing it. This was a dress that I got for Christmas, but living in the Northeast, I had to wait until spring to break it out. Luckily it made for the perfect dress to wear on my birthday last week!
