A nude pair of heels is an essential every woman needs in her arsenal. Any color and almost any outfit works with nude pumps.
The pair I own is from Charles by Charles David. I really need to find more reasons to wear them because even though I can’t walk in pumps, I always love how I look in them. Another pair of nude pumps that I would recommend are these Sam Edelman Hazel pumps. While I don’t own these personally, I always rave to everyone about how much I love Sam Edelman shoes. I own flats and sandals from Sam Edelman, but would love to own this hot pink pair of Hazel pumps.
Now that we know which brands to look at for nude pumps (more at the end of this post), let’s talk about how and where to wear them. Hint: they’ll work for every facet of your life.
Three Ways to Style Nude Pumps
I talked before about how building a professional wardrobe doesn’t have to be expensive if you make the right decisions. Importantly, you have to invest in pieces that are versatile. Nude pumps are ideal for the workplace because again, they work with everything. If you’re in a corporate office, try them with your favorite dress, skirt or pants. Personally, I think olive green and a beige or other neutral color are a killer combination. They’re your go-to shoes for important Tuesday morning meetings and Casual Fridays.
And, they can easily take you from work to after work drinks!
Nude pumps look great with jeans and a white tee or button down. If you’re up for it, I think distressed skinny jeans tend to look the best. Add dimension to your outfit by rolling your jeans. You can also style nude heels with a striped top like this one from Chicwish and your favorite pair of white denim.
Need to elevate that weekend brunch look? Nude pumps are your go-to for a polished yet casual outfit.
Pair it with pastels (lilac, pink, baby blue) for the perfect spring look. Have a wedding shower and not sure what shoes to wear?Need shoes for Easter? Reach for those nude pumps. They can be super feminine, so they look great with any dress or skirt, especially a printed pattern. A floral pattern or another print are “busy.” A neutral heel tones down a busy look.
