Navy or Nothing: Lilly Pulitzer Essie Dress

Lilly Pulitzer Navy Essie Dress

Waking up on a Monday morning isn’t as bad when your team won the Stanley Cup…AGAIN! Last night I stayed up watching the Penguins win for the second year in a row. I’ll be needing extra coffee today, but it was so worth it!

Now this dress. This Lilly Pulitzer dress is one of those dresses you always feel really good in no matter what. You’d think all I own is Lilly after my last several posts, but I swear it’s just what I love wearing this time of year, and it’s a brand that I always feel good in and happy to wear! Isn’t that what clothing should be all about?

I love that this dress is cotton, so it’s super comfortable and soft. And I’m all about comfort in the summer. It’s a subtle A line, aka a cut that’s flattering on everyone. Another reason I’m all about this dress? You can easily dress it up or down. I opted for a more casual look here with my favorite sandals. It would definitely look just as good with wedges, which is how I styled this outfit for work.

And most of all, it’s navy, and what’s better than that? Navy is such a great color for summer. It especially looks great with a tan!

Further proof that I love this dress? I actually own it in another print! Remember this post from last summer? Yeah folks, it’s that good. I even mentioned in the post how it came in a pretty navy color. I guess when you wait almost a year to buy it, it has to be fate, right?

This is definitely a dress that I’ll be reaching for all summer long. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week!

  • I love the combination of the dress and the purse! Such complimenting colors 🙂

Thank you so much, Morgan! Pink and navy are definitely my two favorite colors.
