Market Saturdays

Between work, blogging, and the craziness of summer, it’s nice to take a moment to enjoy the simple things every now and then. Heading to Central Market on Saturday mornings is one of my favorite ways to slow down and just be present. Grabbing a cup of coffee, stocking up on delicious, fresh food, and being surrounded by the hustle and bustle, it’s just a perfect way to spend a Saturday. How do you like to take time for yourself?

Madewell shirt (old, love this and this) | Banana Republic shorts | Converse sneakers | Street Level tote | Ray-Ban aviators | Fossil watch

As for the outfit, I was really glad when Banana Republic brought these shorts back this summer. I was lucky enough to score a pair on super sale at the end of last summer. These are so comfortable and very flattering, two of my requirements for shorts. I often feel really insecure when I have on shorts, but not with these. And when the weather is 90 degrees, there’s no way I’m wearing pants, so I really just have to suck it up.

If you’re in the market for a pair of shorts, do yourself a favor and grab a pair of these. Hopefully the white, navy, and black pairs will make their way into my closet soon!

Such a cute outfit, I know I own a pair of green shorts similar to that, now I want to dig them out of my closet!

They look great with a chambray shirt if you're looking for another outfit idea. Thanks for reading, Alex!
