This Season’s “It” Color

Madewell Ryder Cardigan

I don’t know if this color is actually the “it” color of fall, but it’s a color I’ve seen everywhere. And, it’s a color I’m obsessed with. It’s not something I would normally go for, and I think that’s why. But I just love it paired with cognac.

Wearing: Madewell cardigan (size down) | Madewell tee | Madewell jeans | Sam Edelman ankle boots (different material) | Street Level tote | David Yurman cable bracelet

This Madewell Kent sweater (wearing heather petal) is identical to the Ryder cardigan, so much so that I really thought I did get the same sweater until I went to put this post together. Remember this transitional outfit from last year? Don’t they look alike? I chose to link both cardigans because the fabric is the same. In the widget below, the cardigan I’m wearing in this post is the first sweater.

This year’s style has some slits on the side, but other than that, it’s very similar. With the Ryder cardigan, I sized down, and I did the same with the Kent cardigan. I’m wearing an extra small, and it’s still plenty roomy.

If you’re looking for a cardigan that you’ll never want to take off, I’m telling you, this is it. The red-ish color is gorgeous. In fact, I think if fall were a color, it would be this.

If you ask me, fashion is one of the best things about fall, so why not wear an outfit that will really put you in the fall spirit?!

    • Ooh that’s a good idea, Ashley! I may have to try with a pair of olive green pants that I own. Thanks for stopping by!
