How was your weekend? I was lucky enough to get out and enjoy Saturday’s beautiful weather and snap some photos. I also tried one of those paint classes, which you might’ve seen if you follow me on Snapchat (eborza). Unfortunately, I think I’ll be putting it out to the curb with tomorrow’s trash. I will not be quitting my day job to become an artist! But it sure was fun!
P.S.- How is your March Madness bracket?
Chambray: that classic fabric that never goes out of style. I’ve had a few chambray shirts over the years, but picked up this Madewell shirt during my last visit to the store. I was looking for the ex-boyfriend style because you all know I love an oversized shirt. They only had the classic style so I opted for that instead. It still has a slightly oversized feel.
A chambray shirt is something you can always opt for when you don’t know what to wear!
Lately I’ve been styling my chambray shirts and oversized flannels like a cardigan, and for this post, I went for the Canadian tuxedo look. I love keeping my button down open and pair one of my favorite tees underneath. It’s a super casual look. I happen to think it’s best for enjoying a beer al fresco.
Before I sign off, I have to talk about these shoes. I’ve featured them plenty of times before, like here and here. I love them so much that after the holidays I got a second pair because I love the style of the laces, aka no tying your shoes! My second pair had been getting super dirty, and despite numerous attempts to wash them, it was time for a second pair. They don’t require a ton of break in either, which is great if you need a casual sneaker for running around in.
