Teddy Bear Vest

J.Crew Plush Fleece Excursion Vest

What a great weekend! We celebrated my sister’s 21st birthday on Friday, and it was so much fun! I spent the rest of the weekend watching football and welcoming the cool fall air back. As I’ve mentioned before, one of my favorite aspects of fall is the fashion. It was 80+ degrees most of the week, and I did not know what to wear!

J.Crew Plush Fleece Excursion Vest

I’ll be honest, this plush fleece vest was one of those items that when you spot it in the store, you run. And that’s exactly why I did. Today I’m featuring this vest in an outfit that I think is quintessential fall. Oh, and did I mention it’s currently on sale?!

I think many of you would agree that an outfit that includes a plaid flannel and a vest is a go-to during the fall season. I loved adding my Bean boots to bring it all together. I haven’t gotten a lot of wear out of them yet, but I’m hoping the cooler weather sticks around, and I’ll be wearing them more! Currently Bean boots are backordered until January. If you’re a college student who deals with winter weather, I recommend getting these now! You’ll still have them for most of winter, and you’ll be really glad you did. I also suggest splurging for the shearling-lined ones if you can.

This tote is still an absolute favorite. I’ve hardly used another bag since I got it. If you didn’t read my review on this bag, here it is! As we start to head towards the holiday season, you may want to think about adding this to your wish list.

Now back to this vest. As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, it is currently on sale! There’s one color that’s already marked down, but you can still get the other two on sale until October 26. I seriously love it, and the reason for the title of this post will become apparent when you get it. It’s also easy to dress up. I paired it with this camel skirt and a striped embellished shirt. I’ll be wearing this a lot in the next few months.

Isn’t vest weather the best, Stephanie?! It’s so easy to style a vest with a sweater, button down, etc. Thank you so much for stopping by!

When I first took a look at J.Crew’s new vests this year, I was most drawn to the corduroy detail one – but now that I keep seeing this one popping up everywhere, I’m glad I waited before I made any purchases! This one has been styled so many cute ways, and looks so fuzzy and soft, I think it’s going to be the winner for me!
