A panama hat was something I wanted ever since last summer. After all, they are super cute (and can hide bad hair days). I also love their ability to be worn off the beach. In other words, they can really complete almost any outfit, and that’s why I’m declaring them to be the hat that you “need” for your summer wardrobe.
I did a full review on these shorts, last worn here on the blog. Sizing is limited, but if you head to the review post, I included several other options. Plus, I included another distressed Rag & Bone pair at the end of this post. But, if your sizing is still available, I recommend that you consider adding these to your wardrobe pronto.
Now let’s get back to the hat. I feel like it really completes the look, giving off an effortless vibe. I’m looking forward to wearing this more when the weather decides to permanently stay nice. As I’m writing this, we’re expecting rain and storms today and throughout most of the week. When the sun decides to stick around for awhile, I know this will be the perfect addition to any outfit for dinner al fresco. One of my favorite things about summer weather!
Wearing: Urban Outfitters jacket (old, similar here) | SheIn shirt (another affordable option and also own this) | Rag & Bone shorts (also love these) | Converse sneakers | J.Crew hat (similar option on sale) | Rebecca Minkoff bag | Ray-Ban sunglasses
The price of this hat is a lot more reasonable than most I’ve seen. I find the quality to be very good for the price point. I’m hesitant to spend a lot on a hat that I know could end up in the ocean, so that’s definitely something to keep in mind if you’re looking at pricier options. J.Crew does has frequent sales, so if you want to hold off until then, go for it! If you’re still not sure about the price, this panama hat is identical and half the price of the J.Crew one! Hurry up because I don’t know how long it will be available.
This week will involve getting a lot of work done as I’m heading to Pittsburgh for my boyfriend’s graduation this weekend! I definitely need to put some thought into what I’m going to wear, so keep your fingers crossed that the weather cooperates!
