“Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.” –Charles R. Swindoll
As hard as it can be to believe at times, I find this quote absolutely true. No matter what, things will happen which you have no control over…what matters is how you handle the situation.
From a very young age I have suffered from anxiety and at times it has been very hard to control. Despite this I have made my best effort to keep moving forward. At times it’s felt almost impossible to deal with, but I found once I began accepting that I have anxiety and not being ashamed I could be much happier. Moonlight Chai specifically deals with the fact that with bound determination and a positive attitude it is possible to achieve anything. I want my blog to serve as a message, that what happens to you does not define you, that you are capable of anything, and that you are never alone.
Moonlight Chai is the opportunity to step away from your troubles and look at the beauty in the world around you. Here you will be able to read about yoga, food, fashion and much, much more. I hope you enjoy Moonlight Chai and add it to your lists of reads!
