Flannel Ex-Boyfriend Shirt

J.Crew Factory Puffer Vest

Everyone loves a good flannel, and if you’re like me you’re always on the hunt for the perfect flannel. This Madewell flannel ex-boyfriend shirt was on my Christmas wish list, and I was lucky enough to receive it. I think my favorite part of this flannel has to be the colors. There are so many colors in this shirt, including black, so it’s easy to style. I’ve already worn this to work and on the weekends, and I know it will be a closet fave as we head into these brutal, long winter months. And yes, I probably talk about the weather way too much. But it certainly has an impact on what we wear, right?!

Wearing: J.Crew Factory vest (wearing x-small) | Madewell flannel ex-boyfriend shirt (TTS, on sale!) | Lululemon pants (size up) | Longchamp tote (similar color linked) | L.L.Bean boots (size down) | J.Crew socks | Ray-Ban aviators

For sizing reference, this shirt is true to size, but I would recommend sizing down if you want a slimmer fit; however, I say the bigger the better when it comes to flannel shirts. I think it makes the ex-boyfriend name that much more perfect. I’ve linked some other favorites below, including styles from J.Crew and Vineyard Vines. I’m so happy with this shirt and would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t found the perfect flannel, or just wants another one. Madewell has some other great flannels too!

I’d also like to spill a secret, you’re going to see these Lululemon pants a lot in the coming weeks. (Sorry in advance.) I wear them multiple days per week during the winter. Wouldn’t you? Getting dressed in winter is too difficult sometimes, so I’ll style these however I can. If you haven’t bought a pair, you need to. I find that these run small, so order one size up or go try them on in store. FYI, you can get them hemmed if needed!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Nice! I haven’t whipped out my duck boots yet, but I’m pretty sure I’ll have to pretty soon. xx
