I updated this post from last year to include some new outfits to inspire you as we head into fall! Whether you’re shopping for new pieces, or looking to create outfits from what you already own, I hope you find some ideas below. This is definitely helping me to shop what I already have in my closet!
Links to exact or similar items are included for you to shop, as well as the original post if you want to take a trip down memory lane.
If there’s one fall essential (that works for every season) that I think is worth buying, it’s definitely this blazer. I can’t seem to find the camel color, but I love the black or navy. If prints are your thing, check out this season’s houndstooth version.
For sizing reference, I’m wearing a four. It’s slightly oversized for that boyfriend look, but I don’t feel like I’m swimming in it.
Sam Edelman continuously makes these booties for a reason. They’re amazing! I’ve said it before, but Sam Edelman makes the most comfortable shoes. And, these are super easy to walk in with the low heel. If you don’t have a pair like these already, I highly recommend a brown/cognac pair, as they’ll go with so many outfits. I’m looking to add another pair of booties this season, possibly a gray suede pair. These also can easily work for just about every season.
As I mentioned last week, I’m a sucker for a good tunic sweater. I wear the one featured above all the time in the fall and winter. I think it’s one of those pieces I’ll always wear no matter how pilled or old it may get. Halogen is a great brand for quality, affordable sweaters, so check out the sweater I linked for something similar!
A quality pair of riding boots will last you for many seasons. I chose to invest in these Tory Burch dark brown boots two years ago when they went on sale (it was a sign), but I also love this style, this discounted Tory pair, and this more affordable pair (under $100).
I got a lot of wear out of this Street Level reversible tote over the last couple of years, especially in the fall. A really great buy that can still last you for several years!
And we conclude with the blanket scarf, because we all know how great these are. I refuse to believe that these will ever go out of style. The print above is the one that kind of started the blanket scarf craze, so if you’re all aobut this print, you can shop identical scarves here, and here.
