Fall Outfit Inspiration from Previous Blog Looks

Now that LDW is over, I am officially ready for fall. Like, these 90 degree days actually make me mad. Anyone else feel the same? To help get us through, I’m rounding up fall blog outfits to give you some inspiration. Whether you’re shopping for new pieces, or looking to what you already own, I hope you find some ideas below. Links to exact or similar items are included for you to shop!

LOFT Harvest Anorak Jacket

So glad these booties are back again. I’ve said it before, but Sam Edelman makes the most comfortable shoes. And, these are super easy to walk in with the low heel. If you don’t have a pair like these already, I highly recommend a brown/cognac pair, as they’ll go with so many outfits. I’m looking to add another pair of booties this season, possibly a gray suede pair.

Of course, it never hurts to keep a scarf with you during fall for an extra layer. I love that they add another dimension to an outfit. While the LOFT scarf featured in the post above is no longer available, here’s a similar infinity style for this year.

BeachLunchLounge Royal Plaid Shirt

While I’m not daring enough to try white denim after Labor Day, a white pair of sneakers definitely can carry you into fall. To make them more fall appropriate, pair them with dark wash denim.

Chelsea28 Faux Fur Vest

Good news! Faux fur vests are still on trend this season. I love this Chelsea28 vest that I purchased last year. I’m obsessed with this cupcakes & cashmere faux fur vest. If you aren’t ready to try full on faux fur, this shearling style (also from Chelsea28), is a great option.

A quality pair of riding boots will last you for many seasons. I chose to invest in these Tory Burch dark brown boots last year when they went on sale (it was a sign), but I also love this style and this more affordable pair.

Abercrombie & Fitch Flap Pocket Plaid Shirt

I got a lot of wear out of this Street Level reversible tote this past year, especially in the fall. A really great buy!

Treasure&Bond Layered Shirttail Sweater LOFT Colorblock Poncho

While this LOFT poncho isn’t available this year, I still love the look as an alternative to a cardigan. Try this Treasure&Bond poncho or this striped style from LOFT if you want to recreate the look.

Zara Blanket Scarf

And we conclude with the blanket scarf, because we all know how great these are. You’ll see blanket scarves in lots of prints and sizes this year, but I still have a lot of love for the one featured in this photo. Maybe it’s because it’s so easy to match to any outfit with all of the colors. Shop identical scarves here, here, and here.

I love all of these looks! I have the exact same blanket scarf from last year at Five below. It was $5.00, and super soft! My leather bag of choice is the Julia Shopper from Fossil, and leather booties from TopShop. Thanks for these great ideas!

OMG you found it for $5?! I thought finding it for $20 was a steal, but you win!
