Fall Done Easy

Do you ever find yourself getting ready in the morning with no clue what to wear? I wish I could be one of those people who plans their outfit the night before, but I’m not that smart. It’s bad enough having to wake up early for class, but it’s even worse when I can’t put together an outfit.

Even when I’m at school, I want to look good but also be comfortable. An easy fall look is always a vest, plaid or striped shirt, jeans and riding boots. Seriously folks, it requires minimal effort.

You may already have these fall basics in your closet. If you’re looking to revamp your fall wardrobe or stock up on basics, shop my favorite “fall done easy” items below!
1. Puffer vests. I love J.Crew and J.Crew Factory’s puffer vests. The berry is so pretty! A vest will still keep your body warm, and it is great for layering. Fall is a great time to sport a vest before it becomes too cold.
2. Plaid shirts like the green and blue or the navy and red above are great for layering underneath a vest. Both of these would complement the berry color so well.
3. If you’re not into plaid, stripes are a great option as well. I’m a sucker for navy and white stripes.
4. Riding boots are a must. I’ve given you two different options at completely different price points. Tory Burch riding boots are fabulous, but way out of my college budget price range. The other pair I featured are from Target! They are only $40! You can’t beat that.
5. Jeans. ‘Nough said.

I totally agree! Fall fashion doesn't need to get much harder than a vest, plaid shirt, jeans, and boots. It's so easy! Love your picks.

This may be random, but what do you use to generate that shopping carousel with all the item's images?

Also, great fall classic picks 🙂

Thank you Ellen! I was more wondering about the bottom insert under "Find more fall essentials below at various price points:" where you can scroll left or right to click on individual items. Is that a program? I had a blogger tell me about something similar but the HTML code never worked when I tried to install it. I use Photoshop for collages, but good to know that Polyvore can do that too! 🙂
