Club Monaco Fair Isle Sweater

Depending on where you live, you were reminded this weekend that it’s definitely winter. It was cold where I live, but luckily we got a little bit of snow. I figure if it has to be cold, might has well have some snow, right? There’s something kind of magical about waking up on a Saturday morning to snow falling. The pattern on this fair isle sweater (which is marked way down) definitely has a winter feel to it (as do these photos), so I thought it would be perfect to share today.

Fair isle is typically associated as more of a holiday pattern, but the neutral colors in this sweater make it perfect to wear well after the holidays. I particularly love that the camel color made it super easy to style this with my favorite flats. Sometimes wool can be itchy, but I find this sweater to be really soft. It’s intended to be boxy and short, so I recommend ordering your true size. I think if you sized up it would be too big in the shoulders and arms.

I always covet Club Monaco pieces, so it’s been really nice to take advantage of some of their holiday and post holiday sales to get a few items. Their current sale, extra 30% off sale styles, runs until January 16. Sale items have been going fast, so definitely snatch this sweater up if you’re thinking about it. You’ll love how thick it is on those super cold winter days.

A few of my other favorite Club Monaco pieces are this floral print dress, this pink coat, this silk tank, and this cashmere scarf. I own this particular scarf in two colors, one of them being pink, of course. It’s a great buy, especially when it’s on sale.

What cold weather pieces are you reaching for this winter? Or are you currently planning a trip to a warm weather getaway?
