The radio silence last week was completely unplanned. I’ll be honest, I didn’t feel like myself, and I wasn’t having the best week. And when I feel that way, it’s reflected in areas of my life that I don’t intend it to, like this blog. I’m thinking about doing a blog post on the topic this week. Not to complain, but rather to help others feeling this way.
Nonetheless, it’s a brand new week, and I’m determined to turn things around!
There are so many good things I could say about this cashmere sweater. The color is sort of like a peach tone. Not something I have in my closet, but it’s still a great neutral color, especially when transitioning to spring. I loved the ribbed detailing, too.
I managed to score this sweater on sale after the holidays, which is probably the best time to buy Club Monaco pieces, as I mentioned here. However, I would pay full price for many items from this brand, including this sweater. It’s currently on sale, but available in limited sizes.
In my opinion, cashmere is always a great investment. Why wouldn’t you want to splurge on something that’s super soft? Cashmere comes at various price points, but I often notice a difference in lower priced cashmere. Something to keep in mind.
As the weather tries to make up its mind, you’ll still be able to get away with wearing cashmere pieces for the next few months. Therefore, now is the time to stock up if you don’t want to pay full price. Here are a few on sale options: Neiman Marcus cardigan, Vince cardigan (heard great things about Vince cashmere), and another great style from Club Monaco. Cashmere can be a year round fabric. It’s great for chilly spring mornings and early summer evenings.
