Bundled Up in L.L.Bean

L.L. Bean Ultrawarm Coat, Three Quarter Length

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great time ringing in the new year. I can’t believe it’s 2016! The new year brought some cold weather, finally. I’ll probably regret saying that after a few days, but for now, I’m enjoying wearing my Bean boots and this ultrawarm coat from L.L.Bean.

And yes, this coat is actually called the Ultrawarm Coat.L.L. Bean Ultrawarm Coat, Three Quarter LengthL.L. Bean Ultrawarm Coat L.L. Bean Ultrawarm Coat

With cold weather comes a lot of bundling up, which I usually don’t mind as long as I have cute (and functional) outer layers. I ordered this coat back in the fall and only wore it probably two times prior to this past weekend. (I got a lot of use out of puffer vests this year.) I was beginning to wonder if it was just my luck that I bought a new winter coat for such a warm winter.

I can confirm that after this weekend, this coat is super warm. I really wanted a long coat for winter, and what I love about this one is that it’s not too puffy. I’m trying not to look like a walking marshmallow.

And if you’re on the hunt for the perfect scarf, this faux fur snood from LOFT is it. It’s soft and chic, but the twist popover effect gives it a fun touch. The perfect accessory for bundling up on those cold days!
