Borrowed From the Boys

Borrowed from the boys

I have anxiously been waiting to share these photos with you, and I’m so glad I can! Now, let’s get down to the outfit…

Converse Shoreline sneakers
Lilly Pulitzer Murfee scarf
Casual weekend look with Lilly Pulitzer, J.Crew, and Banana Republic
Casual weekend accessories
Casual weekend look for cooler summers
Borrowed from the boysWearing: J.Crew sweater (similar here) | Banana Republic jeans | Converse sneakers | Street Level tote | Lilly Pulitzer scarf (old, most similar here)

I finally jumped on the boyfriend jean trend with this indigo pair from Banana Republic, and I honestly don’t know what took me so long. I like that these aren’t too baggy, but they definitely still have that “borrowed from the boys” look. I can dress them up for work or keep them casual on the weekends.

If you’re not sure about the boyfriend denim trend, I recommend giving these a try. You can also go one size down for a slimmer fit, but I stayed with my true size with these.

This outfit is great for the chillier (I use the term loosely) temperatures we have been having to start the month of June. It’s great to be able to mix cold weather pieces with warm weather pieces, as I did with this J.Crew sweater and Converse sneakers. Both have been wardrobe staples in my closet since I purchased them!

Love this outfit from head to toe. Boyfriend jeans are my go-to jean during spring because I can roll them and they're a very comfortable fit.

I've been wearing these rolled all the time. I think it's my preferred way to wear it. Thanks for reading, Alex!
