An Ode to Blair Waldorf

Photos courtesy of Margaret Borza

Let’s talk Gossip Girl. (If you haven’t watched this show yet, stop what you’re doing and go to Netflix right now.) A show that definitely makes me wish I was an Upper East Sider. When I took the Gossip Girl bus tour in NYC, I was dreaming of living in Nate’s gorgeous house, eating yogurt on the Met steps, and visiting Laduree for an after school macaron.

Because I can’t always be serious during photoshoots.
Wearing: J.Crew sweater (LOVE) | Banana Republic chambray shirt (old, similar here) | Madwell jeans (old, similar here) | Sam Edelman flats (suede instead of leather) | J.Crew Factory scarf (sold out, similar here) | Baublebar necklace | Ray-Ban wayfarers

Today I’m participating in the #GossipGirlLinkup and sharing an outfit inspired by the one and only, Blair Waldorf. I love both B and S, but I often find that I identify more with Blair’s style. My favorite Blair moment has to be Blair and Chuck’s wedding. I loved Blair’s dress. Stunning.

So Blair, this outfit is for you. Now where can I get a Dorota?

xoxo, Ellen 😉

So, I need this outfit! I love everything about it, especially that you styled jeans with it. It brings something different and makes the Blair look more wearable. Great job!
