Thank goodness this week is (almost) over! Do you ever feel stressed and overwhelmed at the end of the month, and you’re anxiously waiting for a new month to hit the restart button? That’s how I’ve felt lately. To say I’m ready for May would be an understatement!
The good news, is that it’s Friday, and a new month is coming soon! My birthday, Memorial Day, the unofficial start of summer…there’s a lot to look forward to. And, the two year anniversary of A Pop of Pink will come in June. Even when I feel like I want to crawl in a corner, I try to remind myself that there’s a lot to be thankful for and a lot to look forward to.

I can’t believe May and Mother’s Day are around the corner! Today I’m dropping in with a few gift ideas for the specially lady in your life. Any time I have to give a gift, it can be especially difficult for me to find something. I want it to be meaningful and special, but also budget-friendly. My mom means everything to me, so I always try to show how much she means to me, whether it’s a thoughtful card, a photo album, or a bottle of her favorite perfume. My sister and I were on top of it this year, and we have her gift picked out!
I rounded up a few options to give to your mom or any special lady in your life. Items range in price, so you can truly find something at any price point. A few of my faves are this silk scarf, the Tory Burch perfume set (I own two of the three scents), and the S’well water bottle.
Sorry about the lack of inconsistent scheduling last week! You might’ve read about the little changes I made to the blog, so the logistics and stress of all of that kind of took over. After a rough week, I just needed a mini break, and to watch the newest episode of Grey’s Anatomy! But be sure to check out what I did share last week, including a review of these fabulous shorts.
How was everyone’s weekend? If it included some gorgeous spring weather, it really couldn’t have been bad, right? I spent Saturday downtown at Central Market and brunch. I might have had this meal again. I also went to a baby shower on Sunday, which is always fun! It was a great weekend, which always makes Mondays a little difficult. Or should I say, more difficult than usual. Continue Reading
