A Look Back at 2016

Magic Kingdom

2016 was an incredible year, personally, professionally, and on the blog. I’m so thankful for all of you who stop by here during the week to catch up with me. I’m passionate about the content I create on this blog, so I really appreciate each and every one of you for making it worthwhile.

I thought it’d be fun to take a look back at some of my favorite posts of 2016. I’ll be linking to the original post in case you want outfit details or missed it the first time around. You can also subscribe to receive emails when a new post is live on the right sidebar.

February 2016 included sunshine and fun at Disney World. I had a blast pretending like I was a kid. Did I mention how much I enjoyed wearing my Lilly Pulitzer Minnie ears? I think I could go to Disney World every day and never get sick of it.

Lilly Pulitzer Marlowe Dress

I was incredibly excited when Lilly Pulitzer featured this look on their website and app. Lilly is definitely one of my favorite brands (as you probably know), and I always love how I feel when I’m rocking a Lilly print. (Also, can we take a moment to remember this Beyoncé hair?)

Street Level Reversible Tote

This was one of my favorite outfits of 2016. I wore this panama hat and distressed boyfriend shorts a lot on A Pop of Pink, so thanks for bearing through some repeat offenders!

CaseApp

I got to collaborate with CaseApp on a giveaway, where I also talked about must-have accessories for a young professional. 2016 brought a lot of learning and growing for me from a professional standpoint, and I’m really proud of that!

Julie Brown Designs Livie Dress

This Julie Brown dress is one of the most figure-flattering pieces I own. It’s always fun to discover new-to-me brands through A Pop of Pink, and this was no exception.

Lou & Grey Bare Swing Dress

It’s probably a little bit embarrassing to think about how many times I wore this dress during the summer. Gotta love what an LBD can do! And I can’t forget about this clutch either!

Topshop Striped Long Sleeve Tee

Stripes and leopard: a combination that will never go out of style. This outfit was pulled together at the last minute, but turned out to be one of my favorites of the year. Can’t wait to recreate it in 2017!

Lululemon Workout Clothing

I shared an update on my fitness routine, plus my favorite clothing that makes me look and feel good while breaking a sweat. Sadly, mastering a regular exercise routine will still be one of my resolutions in 2017, but I’m proud of the progress I’ve made.

J.Crew Boyfriend Vintage Shirt in Red Plaid

Fall in a town that I swear is like the real-life Stars Hollow. This post was proof that you can never go wrong with an oversized plaid shirt.

Steelers T Shirt and Beanie

And my last style post of 2016 was a fun one. I shared the story behind my love for the Steelers, and the city of Pittsburgh in general. I’d like to think it brought some good luck charm to them on Christmas Day! #HereWeGo

I’ll be taking off the rest of the week, but be sure to come back on Monday for a brand new year and brand new content on A Pop of Pink.

Special thanks to everyone who has helped behind the scenes, including the photographers mentioned below. Here’s to making 2017 our best year yet!
